Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!πŸ°πŸŽˆπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŽ†

After we engaged in a rollicking Patriotic Cupcake Memory Game, a 4th of July Bingo Game, and painted our Independent Day Plaques, we engaged in a thrilling Balloon Toss Game (earning a 4th of July treat cup, flags, patriotic bottles, sunglasses, and mini hats!). Then we created a U. S. A. Flag Cake to enjoy at our Traditional Independence Day Picnic along with Submarine Sandwiches, Barbecue Chips, Watermelon, patriotic cookies, 4th of July bomb pops, and mango nectar punch. We already crafted our spectacular 4th of July shakers, made nifty patriotic fans, popsicle stick flags and colored fireworks pictures this week.

And a special thank you to my amazing mom, Colleen Phipps , who took time out of her busy schedule to make my students a cake to decorate. And, as expected, it is out of this world delicious. Yum! Thanks, mom!

Have a fabulous 4th of July, everyone! πŸ™‚

GRADUATION 2023

Congratulations 2023 Graduates! πŸŽ“πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“πŸ₯³πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰

What an awesome, magical and extraordinary celebration. Congratulations to our brilliant Kindergartener students to be, Jackson and Madeline; and to our Intermediate Level geniuses who will be entering T-K in the fall, Malcolm and Jeweliana; and our outstanding Beginner Level students, Theodore and Avery. I know you all will succeed in life! Here’s to your bright futures ahead.

I feel so grateful to have had such compassionate, intelligent, conscientious parents with creative, talented, funny and bright children. I feel very welcome in Chico and I’m super excited to be teaching in such a lovely, friendly community.

And a special thank you to Maddie Scalvini (Teddy’s awesome mom) for the cute tote bag with my name on it (Love it sooo much), and the adorable personalized sunglasses for each student. What generous and thoughtful gifts. Amazing!

Hawaiian Luau 2023

Aloha!

Celebrating our end of the school year HAWAIIAN LUAU for all students who’ve earned their β€œPin of Honor” was a total blast! With traditional Hawaiian music playing in the background, we began our festivities, winning toys, treat cups, and treat bags full of wonderful surprises by playing with Beach Balls, doing The Limbo, creating fabulous looking Sun Visors, coloring a Hawaiian Craft, performing a Hula Dance routine and our silly Humuhumunukunukuapua’a song (wearing our Fish Hats), and participating in Aloha Bingo. This led us to our feast of Hawaiian Pizza, Submarine Sandwiches, Barbecue Chips, Hawaiian Chips, Jell-O, Fruit Kabobs, Fruit Snacks, Sprinkled Cupcakes and Hawaiian Punch. After our delicious meal we relaxed and watched a fun Movie. Aloha!πŸŒ΄πŸπŸΉπŸŒΊπŸ¬πŸ–πŸ¦©
