Beat the crowd and get your child signed up before the summer rush! Kids First is opened year round—all through the summer. Summer program begins Monday, June 5th. Weekly themes double the fun! Puppet Parade, Music Everywhere, Fairy Tales, Going Artsy and much more; water balloon relay races, shaving cream madness, bubble mania, are some highlights! Every Friday is Popcorn/Movie Fun Friday, and play-dough, bubbles and water activities are a daily treat. Playing tag, digging for worms, building castles, taking slide turns and eating a Popsicle under the water misters to stay cool develop lasting friendships. An excuse to gorge on chips and salsa…count me in! Happy Cinco de Mayo amigos! Kids First Teddy Bears celebrated by enjoying Mariachi music throughout the morning and dancing the Mexican Hat Dance. Super fun! Then we satisfied our palates by eating quesadilla’s topped with sour cream, chips with Casa Lupe salsa, fresh guacamole and spicy onion dip…mm-m-mm.

Theme of the week: Camping
Events: Making and eating s’mores, roasting marshmallows around the campfire, singing campfire songs, going bird watching and on a bear hunt, making personalized binoculars, fishing, listening and telling silly ghost stories, having a picnic by the simulated lakeside, sunbathing and bug catching.
Result: a huge success!
Thanks to Brody’s parents who let us borrow the tent. It made the experience SO real. What a lot of fun!!!
