The Easter Bunny was HERE! He not only filled our Easter Baskets full of fun treats, but he also hid candy-filled eggs for us to search for! We created an adorable “Easter Craft” and engaged in a romping good time playing Bunny Match and performing the Bunny Hop Dance all the way to play Pin the Tail on the Bunny where we got to win Treats and Toys. And then we did the movement activity I am Bunny Pink Ears earning a Bunny Treat. Then it was on to our special snack feast of carrots, bunny fruit snacks, Easter cupcakes, sprinkled cookies, lemon-meringue Jell-O, lemonade, and our dyed Easter Eggs, we decorated! And then we went on our Easter Egg Hunt! What a fabulous party.
Happy Easter to all of you little bunnies out there.
And a special thank you to Andrea’s mom, Brittney Madrigal, for bringing the cutest carrot treat bag filled with awesome goodies for each student, and to Avery’s mom for bringing PEZ dispensers for every student and Ferrero chocolate eggs for me, and for Teddy’s mom, Maddie Scalvini, for the luxurious Easter basket for me (filled with the coolest things on the planet), and for calling the Easter Bunny and suggesting he hide eggs for every child according to their Teddy Bear Class color. What a brilliant idea! It made the hunt so much more smooth and that much more fun!
