Feliz Navidad! We had a magical celebration. First, we colored our Holiday CRAFT BAG, and then we heard the Winnie the Pooh version of The Twelve Days of Christmas. And then with our Santa hats on we sang and danced to a variety of Christmas songs. And then we played games! We played THE CHRISTMAS TREE WALK (earning a Present & Chocolate Santa), and then THE HOLIDAY MEMORY GAME (earning a prize) and then THE BEAN BAG TOSS HOPSCOTCH (earning a treat bag). Then we had fun getting involved in a CHRISTMAS COOKIE DECORATING contest (winning a treat bag). Then it was time for our HI PIZZA MAN story to prepare us for our surprise delivery person from Celestinoโs! This year it was a PIZZA WOMAN wearing a Santa Hat! And then on to our huge feast.
Our bellies were more than satisfied. To wind down the dayโs festivities we watched โICE AGE CHRISTMAS SPECIALโ opened our stockings that Santa filled last night and then heard the adorable story SIX SNOWY SHEEP, and then finally took a long hard winters nap. As the big man in the red suit always says, โMerry Christmas to allโฆand to all a good night.โ
P.S. A special thank you to a few parents who made this the BEST CHRISTMAS PARTY EVER! Thank you to Brittney, who brought us the coolest TREAT BAGS filled with tons of nifty toys and treats, and Nerissa & Aaron who contributed by bringing SPECIAL ORNAME for every student.
And an enormous thank you to Andrea/ Brittney Madrigal & Roy who gave me the most unimaginably awesome Birthday gifts and coolest Christmas gifts for me & Magic, Audrey/Lindsay & Dale for giving me the best assortment of home-made treats and nifty gifts, Avery/Nerissa & Aaron for the cool rawhide candy cane for Magic and a red Teach Inspire Repeat mug, and Theodore/ Maddie Scalvini & Ethan for surprising me with a fancy gift of all my favorite things! I am overwhelmed with appreciation and so grateful to everyone.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Our little turkeys and had ourselves a gobble of good time. We created our own little Cookie Turkeys: using Oreo cookies, Rolloโs, malt balls and candy corn for our edible decoration and created pinecone turkey centerpieces to take home. For our events we played TURKEY TOSS, winning a SOFT FRIEND, and THANKSGIVING BINGO, winning a treat bag. And then we sat down to savor a yummy feast of turkey, olives, cranberry raisins, peanuts, blackberries, raspberries, juicy apples, oranges, cheddar cheese cubes, baby carrots, butterscotch pudding, applesauce pouches, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, berry juice and eggnog. And then we got to relax our little turkey bellies by watching A Charlie Brownโs Thanksgiving. This year I am super thankful to all of my preschool parentsโwho have supported me, and helped with donations during an extremely challenging timeโand their extraordinary kidsโฆI couldnโt be here without you!

KidsFirst LearningCenter had a spectacular HALLOWEEN BASH in the Teddy Bear Class! We had Minnie Mouse, Woody, Nemo, a princess, a witch and a kitty cat, which made it pretty fabulous! And we had the best time earning prizes after doing a Halloween Craft, listening to the hilarious Skeleton Hiccups book, dancing to the Monster Mash at our Pumpkin Walk contest, playing a Witch Hat Ring Toss Game, and spinning around in circles to pin the nose on the Big Orange Pumpkin. The Purple People Eater, Witch Doctor and Walking Through the Cemetery songs brought us into the Halloween spirit while we feasted on our Halloween appropriate snacks! And then winding down the activities with a Mickey Mouse Trick or Treat video made it a huge success. Have a great time TRICK OR TREATING Everyone!
A special thank you to Brittney Madrigal , Maddie Scalvini , Nerissa and Lindsay for going above and beyond creating exorbitant Treat Bags with the coolest toys and treats! I am SO impressed. Thank you for making our Halloween party rock like never before![]()

After we engaged in a rollicking Patriotic Cupcake Memory Game, a 4th of July Bingo Game, and painted our Independent Day Plaques, we engaged in a thrilling Balloon Toss Game (earning a 4th of July treat cup, flags, patriotic bottles, sunglasses, and mini hats!). Then we created a U. S. A. Flag Cake to enjoy at our Traditional Independence Day Picnic along with Submarine Sandwiches, Barbecue Chips, Watermelon, patriotic cookies, 4th of July bomb pops, and mango nectar punch. We already crafted our spectacular 4th of July shakers, made nifty patriotic fans, popsicle stick flags and colored fireworks pictures this week.
And a special thank you to my amazing mom, Colleen Phipps , who took time out of her busy schedule to make my students a cake to decorate. And, as expected, it is out of this world delicious. Yum! Thanks, mom!
Have a fabulous 4th of July, everyone! ![]()

What an awesome, magical and extraordinary celebration. Congratulations to our brilliant Kindergartener students to be, Jackson and Madeline; and to our Intermediate Level geniuses who will be entering T-K in the fall, Malcolm and Jeweliana; and our outstanding Beginner Level students, Theodore and Avery. I know you all will succeed in life! Hereโs to your bright futures ahead.
I feel so grateful to have had such compassionate, intelligent, conscientious parents with creative, talented, funny and bright children. I feel very welcome in Chico and Iโm super excited to be teaching in such a lovely, friendly community.
And a special thank you to Maddie Scalvini (Teddy’s awesome mom) for the cute tote bag with my name on it (Love it sooo much), and the adorable personalized sunglasses for each student. What generous and thoughtful gifts. Amazing!

Aloha!
Celebrating our end of the school year HAWAIIAN LUAU for all students whoโve earned their โPin of Honorโ was a total blast! With traditional Hawaiian music playing in the background, we began our festivities, winning toys, treat cups, and treat bags full of wonderful surprises by playing with Beach Balls, doing The Limbo, creating fabulous looking Sun Visors, coloring a Hawaiian Craft, performing a Hula Dance routine and our silly Humuhumunukunukuapuaโa song (wearing our Fish Hats), and participating in Aloha Bingo. This led us to our feast of Hawaiian Pizza, Submarine Sandwiches, Barbecue Chips, Hawaiian Chips, Jell-O, Fruit Kabobs, Fruit Snacks, Sprinkled Cupcakes and Hawaiian Punch. After our delicious meal we relaxed and watched a fun Movie. Aloha!![]()
