HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween! 👻🎃🫶KidsFirst LearningCenter had a spectacular HALLOWEEN BASH in the Teddy Bear Class! We had Minnie Mouse, Woody, Nemo, a princess, a witch and a kitty cat, which made it pretty fabulous! And we had the best time earning prizes after doing a Halloween Craft, listening to the hilarious Skeleton Hiccups book, dancing to the Monster Mash at our Pumpkin Walk contest, playing a Witch Hat Ring Toss Game, and spinning around in circles to pin the nose on the Big Orange Pumpkin. The Purple People Eater, Witch Doctor and Walking Through the Cemetery songs brought us into the Halloween spirit while we feasted on our Halloween appropriate snacks! And then winding down the activities with a Mickey Mouse Trick or Treat video made it a huge success. Have a great time TRICK OR TREATING Everyone!

A special thank you to Brittney Madrigal , Maddie Scalvini , Nerissa and Lindsay for going above and beyond creating exorbitant Treat Bags with the coolest toys and treats! I am SO impressed. Thank you for making our Halloween party rock like never before🙏🫶!

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!🍰🎈🇺🇸🎆

After we engaged in a rollicking Patriotic Cupcake Memory Game, a 4th of July Bingo Game, and painted our Independent Day Plaques, we engaged in a thrilling Balloon Toss Game (earning a 4th of July treat cup, flags, patriotic bottles, sunglasses, and mini hats!). Then we created a U. S. A. Flag Cake to enjoy at our Traditional Independence Day Picnic along with Submarine Sandwiches, Barbecue Chips, Watermelon, patriotic cookies, 4th of July bomb pops, and mango nectar punch. We already crafted our spectacular 4th of July shakers, made nifty patriotic fans, popsicle stick flags and colored fireworks pictures this week.

And a special thank you to my amazing mom, Colleen Phipps , who took time out of her busy schedule to make my students a cake to decorate. And, as expected, it is out of this world delicious. Yum! Thanks, mom!

Have a fabulous 4th of July, everyone! 🙂

Hawaiian Luau 2023

Aloha!

Celebrating our end of the school year HAWAIIAN LUAU for all students who’ve earned their “Pin of Honor” was a total blast! With traditional Hawaiian music playing in the background, we began our festivities, winning toys, treat cups, and treat bags full of wonderful surprises by playing with Beach Balls, doing The Limbo, creating fabulous looking Sun Visors, coloring a Hawaiian Craft, performing a Hula Dance routine and our silly Humuhumunukunukuapua’a song (wearing our Fish Hats), and participating in Aloha Bingo. This led us to our feast of Hawaiian Pizza, Submarine Sandwiches, Barbecue Chips, Hawaiian Chips, Jell-O, Fruit Kabobs, Fruit Snacks, Sprinkled Cupcakes and Hawaiian Punch. After our delicious meal we relaxed and watched a fun Movie. Aloha!🌴🍍🍹🌺🐬🏖🦩

HAPPY EASTER!

The Easter Bunny was HERE! He not only filled our Easter Baskets full of fun treats, but he also hid candy-filled eggs for us to search for! We created an adorable “Easter Craft” engaged in a romping good time playing Bunny Bingo and Bunny Match, and performing the Bunny Hop Dance all the way to play Pin the Tail on the Bunny where we got to win Treats and Toys. And then we did the movement activity I am Bunny Pink Ears earning a Chocolate Bunny Treat. Then it was on to our special snack feast of baby carrots, fruit snacks, Easter cupcakes, sprinkled cookies, Jell-O, pink lemonade and our own Easter Eggs that we decorated!. And then we went on our Easter Egg Hunt! What a fabulous party.

Happy Easter to all you little bunnies out there.

And a special thank you to Maddie Scalvini for the fancy gift box she gave me, and the individual gift boxes she got for each student. What a wonderful generous and thoughtful thing to do. Thank you…you rock!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Top o’ the Morning! ☘️🌈

The wee little folk in the Teddy Bear class did the Irish jig to our traditional Irish music, and proudly wore our personally crafted shamrock headbands most of the day. But sadly, we did not catch a leprechaun this year—I know! We really thought this would be the year. It was sure a surprise to see the big mess they made in our playroom! Jeesh! Of course, they did leave us some rather delicious green rainbow candy treats, which made up for their shenanigans. We started our party festivities by Decorating a Shamrock Cookie. Then we Played a Lucky Coin Toss Game, a Wild Shamrock Match Game, Find the Shamrock, and a St. Patrick’s Day Bingo game—winning St. Patrick’s Day Stickers, Rainbow Lollipops, Slime, Green Dice, and nifty Treat Cups!

We also watched Green Eggs and Ham, listened to the story “Lizzie the Lazy Leprechaun” and feasted on green Jell-O, green chips with green dip, Lucky Charms cereal, oranges, festive shamrock cupcakes, celery with green cream cheese, rainbow fruit roll-ups, and green punch. And then we enjoyed a special St. Patrick’s Day movie.

May the luck of the Irish be with you, today!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day! ♥️💌💓🥰🏩💒💘💖❣️

We started our Valentine’s Day Party by first coloring a WOODEN HEART CRAFT and DECORATING A HEART COOKIE to win a Heart Tube of M&M’s, Treat Bag and a Mailbox. Then we played a riveting HEART MATCH GAME and won a Treat Cup & Box of Chocolates and played VALENTINE BINGO and won a Soft Monkey Friend! Then we sang “I Love You” with Barney and checked out our special valentines from our classmates. Then it was on to devouring Valentine cupcakes, strawberries, delicious red apples, Scooby Doo snacks, butterscotch pudding, applesauce, a marshmallow heart sweetheart mix, peanuts & raisins, and strawberry milk. And then we proceeded to enjoy watching a valentine movie: Madly Madagascar! And to wind down the festivities we read a “Pinkalicious” story and “Valentine Cats”. Thank you to all the kids and their parents, the Valentines were spectacular this year!

A special thank you to Theodore for the gorgeous flowers and special candle, and to Malcolm for the nifty Valentine wooden spoons and dishtowel, and to Avery for the cute pink Love-Bug. I feel so loved!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY EVERYONE!
